Reform UK is now a serious local force in Burnley and Padiham. Across Lancashire County Council and Burnley Borough Council, sixteen Reform council seats now cover the area, and our councillors are getting to work.
On the county council
Four Reform county councillors represent the Burnley area on Lancashire County Council, which Reform UK has run since May 2025:
- Cllr Tom Pickup, Padiham and Burnley West, who serves as Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care.
- Cllr Mark Poulton, Burnley Rural, who also leads the Reform UK group on Burnley Borough Council.
- Cllr Liam Thomson, Burnley Central West.
- Cllr Eddie Kutavicius, Burnley South West.
The county council runs the big services that matter most day to day, including roads, adult social care and children’s services.
On the borough council
On Burnley Borough Council, the Reform group is led by Cllr Mark Poulton and holds twelve seats across the borough. Borough councillors handle the local services closest to home, from bins and street cleaning to planning and housing standards.
What comes next
Our job is simple. Get value for money out of every pound the councils spend, get the basics right on roads and clean streets, and be councillors who actually answer when residents get in touch.
If you have an issue where you live, find your councillor and get in touch, or tell us about it directly.
