Council On 3 September the Reform cabinet at County Hall added £10m to this year's highways maintenance budget, funded through the council's Efficiency Review. It takes investment in Lancashire's roads in 2026/27 to £88.9m.

Campaigns Burnley Council is consulting on bringing small HMO conversions under planning control in the six wards that still lack it. That would cover the whole borough, as our July motion asked. The consultation closes on 6 November.
